Morgan Fairchild, born Patsy An McClenny in 1950 on the 3rd February is an American actor. Her fame grew during the latter part of the 1970s and into the early 1980s when she starred in several TV shows where she typically portrayed an image of glamour. Fairchild began her career as Jennifer Pace in Search for Tomorrow which was a CBS daytime soap that ran from 1973 until 1977. She performed the role of Jenna Wade in 1978, the first time an actress was able to do so. In the year 1980, she played the lead in Flamingo Road (NBC), in which she was awarded the Golden Globe Award nomination for the Outstanding Actress - Television Series Drama. In 1984, she co-starred in ABC's short-lived soap opera Paper Dolls before appearing on Falcon Crest as attorney Jordan Roberts from 1985 to 1986. Fairchild also appeared in the stage, and also in the role of a guest on TV shows like Murphy Brown and Roseanne Cybill. In fact, she was considered for a Primetime Emmy Award in 1985 because of her character in this drama. The actress is a board member of SAG-AFTRA.
